A fantastic piece of Yamaha history: a 1973 Yamaha G-60A Classical Acoustic Guitar, meticulously crafted at the legendary Nippon Gakki plant in Japan (Serial Number: 30207375).
Unlike the later, more common Taiwanese models, these early 1970s Japanese-built Yamahas are highly sought after by players and collectors for their exceptional build quality, structural stability, and surprisingly warm, resonant tone.

Overall Condition: Good Plus (G+). The body, neck, and bridge are structurally sound and clean. It has been well-cared-for over the decades.
Strings: Needs a fresh set of nylon strings (the current ones are old/missing). I am leaving the restringing to the next owner so you can install your preferred brand and tension.
Case Included: Comes with a modern, heavy-duty aftermarket hardshell case. It features rigid structural protection, a plush interior, and secure chrome latches—a massive upgrade over the flimsy chipboard cases these originally shipped with.

The Yamaha G-60A was only produced for a short window between 1969 and 1973 at the famous Nippon Gakki Hamamatsu factory in Japan.
The inner Tan label with the circular watermark pattern explicitly says "Made in Japan" but the guitar lacks the stamped export branding on the back of the headstock, this guitar was built for the Japanese domestic market.
The Wood: It features a laminated spruce top, maple back and sides, a nato neck, and a bubinga fingerboard.
Collectability: Vintage "Nippon Gakki" marked Yamahas from this era are highly regarded by players and collectors. They are known for exceptional durability, structural stability, and a surprisingly warm, full tone for a laminate spruce top and maple guitar.
