Joe Osolnik is the son of Rude Osolnik. 
While Rude Osolnik (1915–2001) was a world-renowned master woodturner famous for his "weed pots" and "osolnik originals," Joe Osolnik established his own artistic identity, specifically in pottery and ceramics.

Relationship: Joe is the son of Rude and Daphne Osolnik.
Artistic Disciplines: Rude focused on contemporary woodturning and industrial arts. Joe is known for creating glazed stoneware and pottery, often signing his pieces "Joe Osolnik" or "Joseph Osolnik".
Current Involvement: Joe Osolnik continues to manage Osolnik Machinery/Studios in KY (formerly Poverty Ridge Farm and Turning Studio), where he and his family preserve Rude's legacy while also offering their own work.
