Broken Suspension Spring Wire, now 1/8 short ** NEEDS NEW ONE* I re-attached but it will not run, even though it looks fine. Will move the minute hand every now and then if you tinker with it, so the main spring is probably not broken. Wire is probably bent and too short for starters, and will probably need a new one. Will probably need adjustment and cleaning as well. *

Needs new wire. Was BROKEN, where the weight attaches to the string and is now 1/8" too short. Cannot get to run after re-attaching. PARTS OR REPAIR OR DECOR **Condition Flaws: Brass slightly tarnished, consistent with age. No visible cracks, chips, or major damage seen.
If you ever get it running, supposedly these only need wound once a year, although most clock people say twice a year.
