Tested, starts pretty easy. Runs but probably needs tune up (plug, air and fuel filter) or H L T screw adjustments as idle may be low.
We didn't use it on wood and we didn't run it long to get it up to temperature. Engine sounds fine.
We didn't test the chain tensioner because the chain already has the proper tension on it, you might want to check that before you leave with it.
We recommend draining the chain oil and putting new oil in, it may have thinner regular oil in it, not chain oil, as we got a few drips of thin dark on our test.
However we think it will cut wood fine if you run with the throttle up a bit or we can try to adjust idle screw up before you leave with it, if it uses a regular screwdriver, if you don't want to look at the filters first.
The safety chain brake does work and kicks off chain movement.
You need to please test before you leave with the chainsaw. Need to add a bit of oil mix.
Pulls with good resistance, not seized not loose.
Case with good latches. No tools, no oils.
