Tested without thread.
The motor sounds good is fast and has good power. No smell.
The foot pulls the fabric through as it should.
Light works.
The latch has a chip on the inner when it sits on the peg, but it is still currently working as it still fully engages the pin.
The case has a sliver of a chip along one of the back halves on the corner where it closes, center above the latch corner.
