This panoramic landscape depicts a progression of time as the heritage of temple building develops through history. Beginning in Nauvoo, the temple is set on the hill overlooking the town and the flowing Mississippi river. Next is the Salt Lake Temple which stands beside the domed Tabernacle and spired Assembly Hall. The third scene is set against the Swiss Alps showing the first international temple of Bern, Switzerland. The final segment illustrates multiple international temples in modern settings, indicating the spread of the gospel and the availability of Temple blessings to children of God throughout the world.
