Comes with its original case that looks like it survived a quick escape from a jazz shootout. Truly brassy with a side of swagger, this trumpet has a history written in every dent and scratch. RARE, first-generation 1952 Connstellation 28B
Looks like it has "LPD" stamped on it, but have been told this "LP" stamp is low pitch; and there is a mystery as to what the D stands for? DO YOU SEE IT?! Many vintage Connstellation horns use a special multi-piece brass leadpipe design (sometimes referenced as LPD). So who is right?

Conn used "D" variants to classify specific design branches of their professional lines—especially horns using a straight, direct mouthpipe construction that feeds into the valve block with minimal extra bends.

Looks like it was a useable playing instrument before I acquired it, based on condition when found. (Based on all the extra stuff, now in other listings.)
Lots of cosmetic wear to the plating, but the three valves spring back quickly.
Dents in Bell, visible tarnish patches, slight dents, and signs of wear throughout the brass surface.
