Condition Details:
• The Slide (Excellent): The single most important factor—the outer slide smoothly drops completely under its own gravity weight. It is straight, perfectly aligned, and has no friction, catching, or interior drag.
• The Body & Finish: The original lacquer is in beautiful condition with a highly reflective gloss. There is very minimal honest hand-contact wear for a 60-year-old instrument. No structural red rot or major past repairs.
• Blemishes: There is one minor, typical "peck" ding (approx. 1/4 inch) on the bell, and one small dent on the outer curve of the upper tuning slide bow. Neither blemish impacts the airflow, playability, or smooth function of the instrument.
• The Case: Includes the highly sought-after original hardshell case distributed by Wurlitzer, featuring a solid exterior structure and vibrant plush red lining.
Small scratches on the slide and bell, slight tarnishing on the mouthpiece, but still gleaming with charm.
