Q: I tried to checkout, but the order would not show the shipping amount and would not process. Why?
A: We cannot make instant quotes for shipping on items that cannot fit in a 12x12x12 box and/or fragile items that need to have a handling charge added manually. We normally consider these products "PICKUP ONLY".
If the item your trying to buy isn't too large or too fragile please contact us and we will fix the listing with shipping and handling charges. Please understand price for "Pickup Only" quoted on some items may be for local pickup only and the cost to ship will usually have a handling charge applied even if a smaller item.
We may require a shipping surcharge. Usually, if over 8x8x8 inches, or not being able to fit inside a 12x12x12" box with 3 inches of padding on each side when fragile. In these two cases, payment status will be "Pending" requiring our approval until we can verify if the item can be shipped. If the item cannot be shipped we will not "capture" the payment. If the item can be shipped we may have to cancel the order and have you re-order if any additional fees for packing, handling and shipping need to be added.
